The History of Photography
The inception of what we know of as Photography and the camera was the product of an evolution of ideas that began as far back as the 5th century B.C. Understanding the way light is reflected, how light and shodaws can be recorded through the chemical process, and how they get preserved are all important to know when learning about photography. We wouldnt have the ease of use and funtionality of digital cameras today had it not been for people like Niepse, Degguerre, Talbot and Eastman. All who were responsible for some of the major advancements of the photographic process. We will be producing photographs using a camera obscura or Pin hole camera, which is one of the first successful processes ever used in capturing images.
